Audio Interfaces

Due to the numerous A to D converters available in the market, we are not able to offer tech support for all of them. However, we do have a few approved A to D converters for use with our system which will work correctly.

If you would like to use your analogue XLR microphone and you don’t own an acceptable A to D converter, the below have been approved:

  • Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB Audio Interface.
  • CEntrance MicPort Pro.

If you want to use an analogue microphone connected via an XLR we do have one approved XLR to USB converter you can use; it is an affordable item which is why we tested and approved it.

  • Shure X2U XLR-to-USB Signal Adapter

It supports phantom power required microphones as well.

Note - You must still do a system test with this connection so that we can check the recording quality.
